The Roskilde Festival is a yearly music event held close to Roskilde, a city in Denmark. Over 100,000 people from all over the world attend one of the biggest music events in Europe each year. Over the course of many days, the festival will showcase a wide roster of regional and international performers on a number of stages. The festival offers a variety of social and cultural events in addition to music, including art exhibitions, seminars, and food and drink vendors. Since its inception in 1971, the Roskilde Festival has earned a reputation as one of Europe’s top music festivals.
