During the event, a group of bulls are released from a corral and run through the streets of Pamplona, followed by a group of people known as “runners” or “mozos.” The runners attempt to outrun the bulls as they make their way through the streets to the bullring, where the bulls will later be used for bullfighting.

The festival is considered a traditional event and it has been celebrated since the 14th century, and it is a popular tourist attraction. It is important to note that the festival is considered dangerous and several injuries and deaths have occurred in the past.
