TOP DIVE SPOTS
IN THE WORLD

Whether you’re just a newbie looking to get started or a veteran searching for new places to explore, here’s a list of some of the best places in the world to go diving

Cape Kri – Raja Ampat

Country: Indonesia

One of the favorite dives, Cape Kri is Sordio Bay’s house reef and less than 3 minute by boat from Kri Resort. This is the dive site that put Raja Ampat on the map when Dr Gerry Allen smashed his record for total number of fish species on a single tank dive: 374 different species!

At the Northeast point of Kri island the currents sweep into a channel between Kri and the small island of Koh. At this point beneath waters churning in the current, huge schools of , Barracudas, Snappers and Big-eye trevallies can be seen hanging over the drop-off. At the base of the large shallow coral garden reef at 38 meters with blacktip reef sharks patrolling amongst the overlapping maze of hard corals with feeding hawksbill turtles and seahorse can be seen on this phenomenal and always-surprising dive site!

  • Amazing Coral garden
  • Great marine life: Manta Rays, Sharks, Barracudas and giant trevallies.
  • Record setting 374 different species of fish
  • Best dived from Papua but can also be done from a Liveaboard

Country: Egypt

With over 30 incredible dive locations available from this resort alone, you’ll spend a week here and scarcely scratch the surface of what it has to offer. With amazing reefs to sprawling wrecks, Sharm El-Sheikh has it all, due to its position along the Red Sea, the Gulf of Aqaba and the Gulf of Suez, it has a level of diversity found in only a handful of other places around the world.

Truly one of the best dive spots across the globe, the only downside of Sharm El-Sheikh is that it can get a little busy. But because of the high level of traffic, there is also an extensive infrastructure to help divers book tours, find equipment and to connect with local guides.
